Jane & her son, Leonard Hyman
45-year Class Reunion

The following was Posted on Sunday, Sept 22, 2013 on Facebook on Jane Caulfield Hyman by her son, Leonard Hyman. Leonard was the young man who filmed our 45-year class reunion:

“Friday morning, my mother, Jane Hyman, lost her battle with cancer. She is survived by myself, my father, and my brother, Ashton. She was deeply involved in the Baha'I Faith, and invested in its development.

A Baha'i Counselor who met my mother in American Samoa wrote to our family and said, "For 41 long years Jane Hyman has served this community with distinction. Her unconditional love for the friends, her humble tenacity, the constancy of her efforts to strengthen the community's knowledge and firmness in the Covenant, her dedication and loyalty to the Institutions of the Faith and her tireless service on all fronts characterized her life as one with a singular focus - to contribute to the advancement of Baha'u'llah's Cause."

I only hope that one day I'll command as much respect and admiration as she did.”
