The reunion was held the first weekend in October of 2004, starting with an informal get together on Friday night from 7:00 to 11:00 PM. at the Ontario Holiday Inn where 61 classmates and guests attended, getting to know each other again and catching up on events since last we met. It was a great way of breaking the ice and getting ready for the following evening.
108 classmates and guests attended the Saturday night event with dinner and dancing at Imagine That in Upland going from 6:00 - midnight. Our original contract was to end by 11:00 PM, but everyone was having such a great time, they pitched in to pay the extra $200 for the room and $100 for the DJ to stay the extra hour with great dancing and fun, ending with the MICKEY MOUSE song where everyone joined in. Dolores Taylor Seidelís brother-in-law, Terry Hoppee, was our DJ again, having a great time with us this night as well as at the 30th and 35th reunions.
On Sunday afternoon, a few of us met at McCarthy Park located on the corner of 20th and San Antonio in Upland for a potluck picnic. The weather was great and we enjoyed just sitting around and visiting, getting to know each other better and reflecting on the reunion events of the past two days. Several classmates brought along their family members and friends to join us.
Bob and Judy Beezley have finished publishing the Reunion Book for the three day event. The final product came to 93 pages, printed in full color and contains pictures and information from the weekend, classmate bios, newspaper clippings, address lists and an e-mail directory. These reunion books turned out absolutely fantastic, better than we first imagined them to be.
